As you look at this AVIF image, does it get brighter? It does on my computer, changing kind of like an animated GIF. I didn't know the AVIF file type was dynamic. At first the image is dark and gradually brightens (in either Firefox or in Xviewer on Linux). You might need to load it again.



It doesn't change every time in Firefox, I think. But the image does brighten every time I open it in Xviewer.



The image was found on my hard drive, automatically cached by Firefox. I'm not sure what web page it came from, but I think it was from the domain abc.net.au.

The subject of the photo matches the state of mankind: It's time to wake up and enter the light.

This lighting effect is not noticeable on my Samsung phone, so the change in brightness perceived on the computer might be due to the computer screen compensating for an unusally dark image.
