Without faith, there is no salvation. But without love, there is no faith.

There is no salvation without faith. And there is no faith without love.

A man cannot be saved without faith, but he cannot have faith without love.

Love is the greatest commandment: Love God above all and love your neighbor as yourself. With faith you can keep this commandment. How could you love the invisible God without faith? You must first believe that he is before you can love him. And how could you love your neighbor with a pure, unselfish love without God? God is love.

Faith is not in the intellect only, but in the heart. Faith alone is dead. But faith with love is alive. Eternal life requires both: faith and love.
